In the last years there’s growing interest on the themes of social capital and of the social enterprise in the economic literature, but a complete analysis of the connections concerning these research areas there isn’t still. Many contributions have showed, anyway, dynamics related to such connections and they have demonstrated that the social firms can promote social networks around people and can favour the accumulation of social capital in the communities. Starting by this theoretical point of view, we study the relationship among social enterprise and local development trough the accumulation of social capital
