The influence of a magnetizing field local change on the amplitude of resonant magnetoelastic waves has been investigated in Co-P ribbons. The effect depends on the structure of the samples and it reaches its maximum effectiveness in multilayered nanocrystalline samples. In this material the magnitude of the change of the magnetoelastic wave amplitude is so high that it can be used to detect a little variation of the local magnetic field, in any point of the samples it occurs.

Abstract
The influence of a magnetizing field local change on the amplitude of resonant magnetoelastic waves has been investigated in Co-P ribbons. The effect depends on the structure of the samples and it reaches its maximum effectiveness in multilayered nanocrystalline samples. In this material the magnitude of the change of the magnetoelastic wave amplitude is so high that it can be used to detect a little variation of the local magnetic field, in any point of the samples it occurs.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
