Mutual diffusion coefficients in systems with inclusion compounds: α-cyclodextrin - polyoxyethylene 5 hexylether -water and α-cyclodextrin - sodium 1 hexylsulfonate -water

Mutual diffusion coeffs. were measured with the Gouy technique for two ternary systems: (A) α-cyclodextrin-polyoxyethylene-5-hexyl ether-H2O, a nonionic system, and (B) α-cyclodextrin-Na 1-hexylsulfonate-H2O, a ionic system. For both systems the four measured diffusion coeffs. allow the authors to est. the diffusion coeffs. of the actual species present in soln., assuming for the inclusion const. the values obtained from calorimetric data.
