Abstract
The Backus-Gilbert (BG) method is an inversion method for solving integral equations. We show that, given a set of idealized delta-function kernels in the BG formalism, it is possible to derive an interpolation formula for a band-limited function very closely comparable with the perfect interpolation formula given by the Shannon theorem.File in questo prodotto:
