Abstract
A praying mantis shown a bird displys a frightening responsa called deimatic reaction. Habituation of this response takes place after repeated presentations of the birs. Paper gel electrophoresis of a gel filtration of brain extracts tevealed three distinctive cationic spots. Change in the intensity of one of these spots proved to be clearly correlated with memory consolidation- Biochemical analysis of this spot indicated that it contains a mixture of lysine and arginine.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
