The integument of Torpedoes is interesting both for the variety of epidermic cells and for the occurrence of dermic cartilaginous structure. The morphological and histochemical differences between ventral, dorsal skin and lateral fine skin as well as the condrogenesis of cartilaginous fin rays occurring in the dermis of Torpedo marmorata and Torpedo ocellata were described.

Abstract
The integument of Torpedoes is interesting both for the variety of epidermic cells and for the occurrence of dermic cartilaginous structure. The morphological and histochemical differences between ventral, dorsal skin and lateral fine skin as well as the condrogenesis of cartilaginous fin rays occurring in the dermis of Torpedo marmorata and Torpedo ocellata were described.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
