The influence of Ga2O3 and Ag2O on the electrical conductivity, thermal stability towards deviotrification and thermal expansion has been investigated. The substitution of Ga2O3 for P2O5 in a Ag2O.P2O5 glass increases the electrical conductivity, thermal stability and thermal expansion.The increase of the Ag2O in (1+x) Ag2O. 0.1 Ga2O3.0.9P2O5 glasses causes an increase of the electrical conductivity and thermal expansion. Lower thermal stability has also been observed.
