Observation carried out on game hares forced to live in captivity, showed that, regardless of their sex, the animals were rarely visible throughout the period of the experiment (57%). This confirms that the specie's first means of defence is to hide. When visible the animals limited their movements as much as possible (31%). Their apparences considered normal, occurred mainly during twilight hours (9%). There was not a remarkable number of violent reactions (3%).
