Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) has been applied for tissue evaluation in different clinical fields. The aim of this study is to characterize the electrical properties of muscular tissues and its variation due to a prolonged contraction and successive relaxation. The layout of measurement has been studied. Preliminary results show significant differences in the characterization of impedance data in the different examined situations

Abstract
Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) has been applied for tissue evaluation in different clinical fields. The aim of this study is to characterize the electrical properties of muscular tissues and its variation due to a prolonged contraction and successive relaxation. The layout of measurement has been studied.
