The "mirror neurons": what consequences for the Christian faits? The discovery of mirror neurons and their activation mechanism in humans raise several questions. On the one hand, it becomes established the idea that is not possible to consider voluntariness inheren to both human and moral acts. On the other hand, following the same line of thinking, it will inevitably concluded that, if human acts are deprived of voluntariness, they are equally deprived of responsability, which is at the heart of every moral judgment, as well as of law and religion. If this is the case, there is a conflict with Christian faith and any other type of faith alike, in that they all consider free will as the foundation for moral action. Human have the power to choose between good and evil. How can this contradiction be resolved, while taking into account the needs and findings of the scientific research, as well as the expectations of the relious man, at the same time?

Abstract
How can this contradiction be resolved, while taking into account the needs and findings of the scientific research, as well as the expectations of the relious man, at the same time?I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
