With its intense historic stratification, examined through the most significant territorial and architectural features, the ancient abandoned borough of San Severino di Centola bears testimony to the passage of cultures and traditions, and is set in a highly evocative landscape. Here its restoration is proposed, through the examination of artifacts and assessment of their state of deterioration so to edit a project that may define intended uses with the purpose of integrating the cultural heritage, tangible and intangible, into social life in a perspective of “integrated conservation”. The consequent proposal for enhancement is based on the, fully respectful of the social and cultural parameters of the borough, evaluation of interventions on local territory, whereas a financial feasibility hypothesis has been formulated for its management.
