Study of the possible phototoxic action of bonellin, an usual chlorin extracted from the sea worm Bonellia viridis, on strains of six species of both human and animal dermatophytes, showed that this substances has an inhibitory effect on fungal reproduction. Using a solar simulator for irradiations this inhibitory effect was found to be photomediated.

Abstract
Study of the possible phototoxic action of bonellin, an usual chlorin extracted from the sea worm Bonellia viridis, on strains of six species of both human and animal dermatophytes, showed that this substances has an inhibitory effect on fungal reproduction. Using a solar simulator for irradiations this inhibitory effect was found to be photomediated.File in questo prodotto:
