The french scholar Henri II Estienne (1531-1598) played an important role in the history of the text of Callimachus’epigrams, both as editor, in 1566, of the Anthologia Planudea, and as editor of Callimachus' works, in 1577. The paper investigates his contribution on several ecdotic and exegetical aspects.
