The article explores the main innvations purported by the 2014 attempt of constitutional amendment in Italy. It specifically foucuses on the reform of Italian bicameralism trough the introduction of a Second Chamber representative of territorial institutions, and on the participation of the Italian Senate into the legislative process, providing some comparative insight.
