The Authors evaluate the adhesive strength of a new metal orthodontic bracket with a concentric base form by comparing it with a classic mesh base; a SEMEDS analysis has been carried out after debonding. The results show that the new concentric brackets are more resistant to debonding strength and that, apart from base form, shear stresses are less detrimental for the enamel.
