This paper analyses some procedural aspects of the removal of members of the management board and of the supervisory board of banks, as can today be established by ECB and NCA. The first part of the work focuses on the special characteristics of removal, in comparison with other measures, mainly in the early intervention perspective. The second part of the work examines the various procedural aspects of the removal itself, taking account of the doctrinal debate and of the cases occurred.
