Abstract
As a result of our recent study and survey of the “Sala del Trionfo” in Castel Nuovo, which we have coordinated within the “iDome” project of University of Naples Federico II, now we are able to propose a more careful reflection about the structural type designed by Guillem Sagrera to cover this important architecture. In fact, as we are going to show, this structure is a rotation nailed dome and not a ribbed stellar vault or a mixed structure, as claimed by many scholars up to now.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
