This research, about the term “risque” in the insurance field, was carried out by consulting a corpus of specialised works relating to the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Our corpus enabled us to select examples in context, which showed us several linguistic solutions and different uses of the word “risque” over time. According to the analysis, we noticed that the term “risque” had a wide variety of nominal and verbal syntagma, that supported the insurance field description.
