Urban Spaces Accessibility and Improvement. An Operative Proposal.The aim of this contribution is to provide a list of phases, as examples, for the performed research in the old town Naples, included in the UNESCO heritage list, with special reference to its decumanus maximus. The objective was to define a correct methodology for analysis and fine tune efficient virtual models for the first valuation of a series of interventions for improving the accessibility and enhancing the urban area and its specific connotations. In the urban organisms the ever more present characteristics is certainly the complexity, which increases due to the hybridization effect, and the continuous and sometimes pervasive intermingling with the new communication technologies. Such scenario extends the research area of the graphical presentation especially with regard to the documentation and description of the connotative and qualitative characteristics of the built urban environment, and the ever growing necessity to compare, integrate and share the result of different competences, both regarding general and particular aspects.
