AURA educational tool is a device that experiments with the ability of plants to purify the air and uses IoT technologies, data visualisation and active pedagogy as strategies to stim- ulate and transfer positive and conscious behaviour. The kit’s key tool is the biofilter, a shell designed to integrate and connect “green” (botanical) and “smart” (sensor) compo- nents. The aim of the research is to transmit basic botanical and environmental knowledge and to disseminate the use of digital technologies for the creation of new responsive, multifunctional, integrated, updatable, self-producible and persuasive educational tools for the transmission of ecolog- ical and technological sensitivities, methods and practices.

Abstract
