Abstract
Article 6 of the Venice Charter sanctioned the importance of the conservation of traditional contexts. In the field of vernacular architecture, the interest that has developed on an international and national level, in relation to what was also defined by the 1964 Charter, is demonstrated by several documents that have been drafted in the last twenty years. The Campania context, whose inland areas are rich in multiple expressions of vernacular architecture, identifies in the Vesuvian area the presence of a widespread historical-architectural heritage connected to the local agricultural tradition. By virtue of the presence of this multi-layered heritage, institutions are also paying particular attention to the conservation of rural areas. Thus, in the context of the institutional discipline of Campania, the paper, tackling an analysis of the strategic actions envisaged by certain territorial government bodies, intends to assess the consistency of the forecasts for the protection of Vesuvian rural areas, as well as any results achieved.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
