This paper aims to study the legal issues of cryptoassets. Provided a brief reference on the working of bitcoin and blockchain, this research offers a possible answer to the question concerning the legal nature of cryptocurrencies. Lastly, the main disciplinary aspects of Initial Coin Offerings in Italy and France have been thoroughly studied.
