Accessibility is an increasingly decisive factor in contemporary society. It involves the transformation and sometimes the reconsideration of social and organizational spaces so that they do not present barriers for anyone, regardless of their physical, psychological, or social characteristics (a particularly important issue for people with disability). In addition to the implementation of devices that enable navigation through spaces (from ramps to elevators, from auditory signals to traffic lights to tactile paths), accessibility is increasingly related to cultural and artistic production (audio description, subtitles, voice-overs, AI-based image descriptions, speech synthesis). In this article, we address this theme through a dialogue between organizational studies and artistic research. After a critical review of actual debates about accessibility, with a focus on disability studies, the article inquires how contemporary artistic and cultural experiences are addressing the issue. We highlight how those experiences can contribute to develop new and groundbreaking perspectives in organizations.

Abstract
We highlight how those experiences can contribute to develop new and groundbreaking perspectives in organizations.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
