“Cultural traumas”, shadows and removed: an analysis of sociology of imaginary It is now known, in the flourishing scientific literature produced on postmodern society that it is characterized by its "ambivalent" nature (Camorrino, 2022). Nowadays Dioniso casts his shadow (Maffesoli, 1990). As clearly stated by Kieran Flanagan (2017: 75), it is the "underground" dimension of modernity and a “past" increasingly evoked in social and imaginary forms (nostalgic and neo-romantic) that become the sources of meaning and the "constitutive resources" of the present tense (Flanagan, 2017: 75). Starting from the analysis of this "re-enchanted" scenario (Maffesoli, 2016), this essay aims to contribute to the imaginal analysis of the removed in contemporary society and its effects on the symbolical dimension. In particular, this will be dealt related to "cultural traumas" (Alexander et al., 2004). For these reasons, the relationship between “collective memory” (Halbwachs, 1996) and imaginary will be traced, and the shadows of the Postmodern analyzed.

Abstract
For these reasons, the relationship between “collective memory” (Halbwachs, 1996) and imaginary will be traced, and the shadows of the Postmodern analyzed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
