A catalogue of manuscripts owned by (but stolen to) Angelo Decembrio is known. The article analyzes the possibility the one of these manuscripts shall have contained the same hexametric Latin poem read in the PHerc. 817 (the so-called ‘Carmen de Bello Actiaco’ from Herculaneum).
