Abstract
The article, moving from the episode of the visit in Capua by the French scholar Jean-Jacques Bouchard (1606-1641) in November 1632, analyzes the relationships between the libertine and the Campanian antiquarians, in particular Camillo Pellegrino junior (1598-1663) and Pietro Lasena (1590-1636). New details on the network of erudite relationships binding Naples to Rome and France in the first half of the seventeenth century are derived from the analysis of an unpublished correspondence, testified by the ms.
