The Authors have considered 17 patients (aged from 8 to 17) with social anxiety disorders. In these cases appears a reciprocal relationship between the comorbidity frequently, lower socio-economic status, and family history of anxiety disorders. This suggests that it is important an intervention for preventing with: a) educating parents about social anxiety disorders; b) teaching information about risk; c) according with a multiprofessional clinical group and local services for early treatment.
