The author examines Weber’s interpretation of Hegel’s thought starting from the many explicit references to the Stuttgart philosopher in Roschers “historische Methode" (1903), the first of the three articles that make up Weber’s essay on Roscher and Knies. The author shows how Weber makes a full use – although for his own purposes – of the notion of «emanatistic logic» developed with reference to Hegel in the «excellent work of a student of Rickert gifted with great talent», that is to say in Emil Lask’s first work Fichtes Idealismus und Geschichte (1902). The method used is that of a detailed textual analysis that, in addition to Roschers “historische Methode” and Lask’s book, takes into consideration also other works by Weber which are almost contemporary to that on Roscher.

Abstract
The author examines Weber’s interpretation of Hegel’s thought starting from the many explicit references to the Stuttgart philosopher in Roschers “historische Methode" (1903), the first of the three articles that make up Weber’s essay on Roscher and Knies. The author shows how Weber makes a full use – although for his own purposes – of the notion of «emanatistic logic» developed with reference to Hegel in the «excellent work of a student of Rickert gifted with great talent», that is to say in Emil Lask’s first work Fichtes Idealismus und Geschichte (1902). The method used is that of a detailed textual analysis that, in addition to Roschers “historische Methode” and Lask’s book, takes into consideration also other works by Weber which are almost contemporary to that on Roscher.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
